FCCLA finished with another successful year with many goals being achieved. Twelve people completed in STAR with twelve members participating in eight events. Six of the events received Top Gold and advanced to State STAR where we received 4 gold?s and two silvers. From those events four of them were State Runner-up in their events. Desirae TePoel was elected to the Families First Team. She will also represent the Families First Team on the SPOT team. She and Mrs. Zeilinger will be attending National Convention in Nashville, Tennessee in July.
Other activities included community service event, working with the elementary students, activities with the family, DSL, Peer Ed Retreat, and SLC.
The FCCLA/FFA banquet recognized many achieves of both organizations youth with parents and friends attending. Seniors were given special recognition for their leadership roles. FCCLA senior members each received a scholarship available after the second semester of college.
