Prague FFA Members ended State Convention with
the celebration of three members receiving the State FFA
Degree. Kalen Codr, son of Dan and Renee Codr, Kaleigh
Kaspar, daughter of Mark and Linda Kaspar, and Amber Vanek,
daughter of Jeff and Barb Vanek, received the highest degree the
State FFA Association can bestow upon its members. To earn
this degree members must have earned or productively invested a
minimum of $3,000 or worked at least 1,500 hours outside of class
time on the Supervised Agricultural Experience, they must also be
active in the FFA Chapter and demonstrate leadership qualities to
meet minimum qualifications. Kalen, Kaleigh, and Becky
submitted a written application, two years of records, passed a
written FFA test, and interviewed for the degree. March 30,
2007, 463 Nebraska FFA members received the State FFA Degree during
the final session of State FFA Convention. Congratulations Kalen,
Kaleigh, and Amber on your hard work and dedication to earn the
State FFA Degree.
