The boys season, much like the girls, had many ups and downs.  The Panthers finished on the wrong end of the scoreboard in their first 5 games before beating Cedar Bluffs for 3rd place of the Shelby Holiday Tournament.  Their next win came against Rising City.  In the openning round of the conference tournament, the Panthers were able to get revenge for an early season loss to Nebraska Lutheran by beating them 41-39 in overtime.  The Panthers finished 4th in the tournament.  The Panthers were also able to grab a win in their last home game of the year.  Their final win of the season came in the openning round of sub-districts against Rising City.  The season however came to a close with a 72-42 loss to District runner-up Leigh.  This was the last game for seniors Lance, Josh, Derek, and Ben.  Their effort was appreciated by all.  Next year's team looks to rebuild and get better with lots of hard work during the summer.
