Floral Design

This year’s plant science class spent a few weeks studying floral design.  Students learned about the floral industry, discovered flower care techniques, and used elements of design to create beautiful flower arrangements.  Discovering new plants and new flowers allowed students to be creative with their work.  Students created corsages and boutonnieres, bud vases, large arrangements, and centerpieces.  Each student created several designs and took them home to share with family and friends.
