This year in Kindergarten we had
a lot of fun. We got to go on a field trip to the zoo, go on
a couple of nature walks, be paleontologists, and so much
more. One of my favorite activities that we did this year
however, was writing our 5 senses books. As we were learning
about the five senses, the students were also writing pages for
their book. They did the rough draft in the classroom, and
with the help from their peers, and I, we had the books
finished…almost. When everyone was ready, we went up to the
computer lab! Mr. Matson was very kind in letting us use his
lab to type our stories. The students typed their own
sentences and picked out their own pictures off of clip art.
I am not joking when I say that Mr. Matson and I only had to show
the students what to do, two maybe three times at most. It
was completely amazing! The students had a wonderful time
completing this project and I enjoyed watching each of them having
fun doing it.
