Music Supply List 09-10 School Year

***Before you go out and buy a Standard of Excellence Book or any band supplies other than reeds please check to see if the school already has it available to purchase.***
5th Grade Band – Please see Mrs. Arneson about what you need. It
will depend on the instrument that you play. Everyone should have a
folder and Standard of Excellence Book 1.
6th Grade Band – Folder, Pencil, Standard of Excellence Book 1 and
Book 2
7th and 8th Grade Music Class – Spiral Notebook, Folder, Pencil
HS Chorus – Spiral Notebook, Folder, Pencil, black pants and black
shoes
HS Band
• Black pants, black shoes for inside performances, khaki shorts
for outside performances
• Folder & Pencil
• Lyre
• 2 packages of reeds for the year (can order through Dietz and
have it delivered to the school if you make arrangements with Mrs.
Arneson. The school will only have reeds for emergency purposes
i.e. concert situations)
• a metronome is highly recommended but not required
• Books 1-3 of the Standard of Excellence Series (If you will be
going into 7th grade have books 1 and 2, if you are 8th through
12th have books 1, 2, and 3)
