Single Living Class

by Marilyn Zeilinger

May 25, 2009

Cupcakes were the name of the game for the entrepreneurship project selected by the Single Living Class.  Over 800 cupcakes, 52 arrangements were sold before Mother’s Day.  The arrangements consisted of small and large cupcakes on a bed of chocolate rice crisps.  Each member of the class had responsibilities to follow through with but some days found them helping others with a different task.  They made up their order forms, advertising, pricing and grocery lists.  Multiple trips to the store were needed to get the supplies that had run out.  Zach commented that it was a lot of work and there was a short time to complete the project due to the Mother’s Day deadline.  Students involved were Nathan Kuncl, Jenna Paseka, Nigel Hayes, C.J. Chmelka, and Zach Peters.
