Keep Prague Beautiful! 2009

The first and second grade Social Studies lessons this past month have been focused on community. We have brainstormed multiple ways of helping our own community and have taken part in making Prague a better place to live, work, and play. The students each made a poster with a different agenda, to help others remember to Keep Prague Beautiful. We have hung the posters up in the school to remind everyone else, too. As extra-ordinary citizens of Prague, the students, along with their families, went out and picked up trash around Prague. It was pretty impressive to see the full bags of trash, come into the building and get put in the dumpsters and KNOW the trash is no longer polluting our community. As a class, we hope that our efforts have been noticed and we hope everyone else will take part in KEEPING PRAGUE BEAUTIFUL!!
