Spanish update....

Spanish 2 students have been working on preterite (past) tense verbs lately. They are in Chapter 8 of the Expressate (red) book.
For a fun, Spanish community-building opportunity, the class holds a meeting on the last Friday of each month for "Spanish Club." This is when students learn about fun cultural aspects of Spain and Mexico, with food generally involved. They may be considering a fundraising event in the future- just a head's up! :) The students will try to make a college visit in the Spring as a class, to see about a Spanish or Foreign Language program and meet the kids from Newcastle and their actual teacher in person. More details will be announced as they arise.
