Kindergartners Celebrate 100th Day

On Monday, February 1st, our class celebrated the 100th day of school! To mark the occasion, we each wore a special "Happy 100th Day!" sticker. We also read the poem, "100 Is a Lot" by Meish Goldish. Then, we each got out our scissors and went looking for 100 happy faces in magazines to glue onto our "100 Happy Faces on the 100th Day of School" poster. For math, we began working on filling in the missing numbers on a one hundred chart. We learned that this is something we'll have to keep practicing in order to help us learn all of our numbers 1-100! Finally, we were able to enjoy eating the cupcakes Mrs. Warford brought with the number "100" on them in royal blue icing. They were delicious! It almost made us wish that everyday at school was the 100th day!
