Party!

Well, the month of February is starting out to be a partying month! The second graders have all received an A on their spelling test. Since the beginning of school, that has been a free ticket for a class party! The kids had many ideas for their party, including popcorn & a movie and a senior citizen day; but after a tight vote we couldn't get away from an hour long recess and dressing up! Only a few of the students dressed up, including the grim reaper, a football player and a couple of hippies- the students are focused on the recess!
Then, on Friday, February 12th we are taking time out of our shortened day for a Valentine celebration! The students will be decorating a bag for their valentines and doing learning activities with a pink and red twist! It should be a good time for all!
