Thanks to Kim Brown for a fabulous presentation of her character, D.W. from the popular children's book and cartoon series "Arthur." Students enjoyed a fun and upbeat speaking performance by author Marc Brown's sister, a lively lady who drove from a small town in western Nebraska.
Free and open to the public, spectators and crowd participants learned how to draw a basic Arthur, listened to a story, viewed some fun Power Point slides, and were able to ask Ms.Brown some questions about her involvement in her brother's success in writing. All this fun was packed into about an hour on March 31st in the gym in the afternoon.
Thanks again, Ms. Brown!
